Pretentious and dull |

A reader from Van Meter, IA writes...
Total self-serving tripe! Garns devotes an entire chapter to the loss of his third grade romance and his subsequent struggle with heroin addiction. This is the worst Hollywood memoir I have ever read. I'm ashamed to call him my son. |

Terrific Read! |

A reader from Syracuse, NY writes...
Brilliant! I read the entire book on a plane trip from New York to New Jersey. The words leap off the page and the illustrations by Jim Davis complement the harrowing stories within. I particularly enjoyed that "new book" smell. Laughing Through The Pain should be at the top of your must-read list! |
